- Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on February 5 chaired aworking session with the Commission for Management of State Capital atEnterprises (CMSC) and 19 groups and corporations under the commission'smanagement to look into their production and business plans for 2024 andmeasures to promote socio-economic development investment in the year.
PM Chinh highlighted contributions from the 19groups and corporations to the country’s overall success in 2023, but underlinedthat the country’s socio-economic development tasks for 2024 are much harderthan those for 2023, requiring more efforts from ministries and sectors,including the CMSC. Speaking at a working session with the commissionand 19 groups and corporations under its management in Hanoi on February 5, PMChinh instructed that the commission should focus on removing legal obstaclesto create a favourable legal framework for the SOEs, while intensifyingsupervision and power control. - A drone light show expected to set a Southeast Asian recordis scheduled to take place by the side of Ho Tay (West Lake) in Hanoi on theeve of the Year of the Dragon on February 9.
The show, with the participation of 2,024 drones,will be organised by the People’s Committee of Tay Ho district, the Vietnam Oiland Gas Group (Petrovietnam), and the Vietnam Public Bank (PVcomBank) incelebration of the New Year, the district Party Committee said. Read full story
