Hanoi (VNA) – The 11th APECSenior Disaster Management Officials Forum (SDMOF) will convene in Vinh city,in the central province of Nghe An, on September 21.
The two-day meeting will gather about 200delegates from APEC member economies, international organisations, andbusinesses.
The forum is set to focus on boostingcooperation and innovation related to technologies for natural disasterprevention.
Information exchange and the concept of makingdisasters the new normal via better preparation will be among highlightedtopics of discussion.
