Indonesia continues to face a shortage of salt and have to import salt despite having expansive seas, Director General of Chemical, Pharmaceutical, and Textile Industries of the Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) Reni Yanita has said.

The State Bank of Vietnam has raised caps on credit growth for some commercial banks so far this year, helping businesses obtain easier access to capital as they are putting forth post-pandemic recovery.

The State should eliminate price ceilings for milk products and control milk prices via input materials instead, experts said.
