Hanoi (VNA) – The 2025 Vietnam–China friendship music gala took p꧅lace in Hanoi on July 18, marking the 75th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties (January 18) and the 2025 Year of Vietnam–China Hu🔥manistic Exchange.
Co-hosted by the Voice of Vietnam (VOV), the Radio and Television Bureau of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region under the Guangxi Radio and Television (China), and the Radio Television Hong Kong (China), the event saw the presence of deputy head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilisation Pham Xuan Thuy; Deputy General Director of the Vietnam News Agency Doan Thi Tuyet Nhung, and Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam He Wei.
In his speech, VOV Deputy General Director Ngo Minh Hien highlighted the growing partnership between Vietnamese and Chinese media outlets at both central and local levels, particularly with Guangxi. He noted that the event has fulfilled high-level agreements between the two Parties and States and created new development opportunities amid the fast-evolving digital media landscape.

Huang Zhiheng, Deputy Director of the Radio and Television Bureau of Guangxi Zhuang, described the event as a model of bilateral audiovisual cooperation over the past two decades. He expressed Guangxi’s desire to further partner with Vietnamese counterparts on compelling content that tells heartfelt stories of their neighbourly ties.
The gala featured a lineup of celebrated performers, including Vietnam’s Meritorious Artists Phan Thu Lan and Dang Thuat, singer Ngoc Ha, and a folk band led by conductor Dong Quang Vinh. Representing China were singers Chen Da, Nong Zhao Fei, Wang Yi Feng, and Kandy Wong from Hong Kong.
