Tel Aviv (VNA) – Despi🐻te ongoing conflicts in the Middle East, trade between Vietnam and Israel continued to grow strongly in the first half of 2025, with Israeli firms actively seeking alternativ🍸e suppliers, including from Vietnam.
Le Thai Hoa, Trade Counsellor at the Vietnamese Embassy in Israel, said on July 7 that bilateral trade reached 1.565 billion USD in the first five months of this year, marking a 44.64% surge compared to the same period in 2024. Vietnam’s exports to Israel were valued at 354 million USD, maintaining the same level as the previous year.
Preliminary data shows that bilateral trade hit 1.825 billion USD in the first six months of 2025, up 31.2% year-on-year. Exports from Vietnam rose to 425 million USD during the period.
If current momentum continues and no significant market disruptions occur, trade between the two countries is projected to approximate 3.7 billion USD for the full year – an increase of 13.95% over 2024. Vietnam’s exports are expected to approach 900 million USD, up 13.21%.
Hoa described these trade figures, given Israel's population of nearly 10 million and latent risks of instability, as relatively impressive.
