HCM City (VNA) - Mexican pianist Gustavo Romero and pianist Eun YoungJoo from the Republic of Korea will present The Pianist ofPassion concert at the HCM City Conservatory of Music on June 9.
The concert will include masterpieces by Debussy, Mozart, Schubert, Granados,Infante and Fazil Say.
Romero began playing piano at the age of 5, and began studying at the JulliardSchool when he was 14.
He was the winner of international competitions, including Clara HaskilInternational Piano Competition in Switzerland and the Avery Fisher CareerGrant.
Joo graduated from the Vienna State Conservatory in Austria in 2000 and earnedher master’s degree from the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music in Moscow in2007.
She won the Erika Chary Foerder Preis and the Allegro Vivo Music Festival inVienna in 2000 and 2001, respectively.
The concert will begin at 8pm at the conservatory at 112 Nguyen Du Street inDistrict 1. Tickets are available at the venue.-VNA
