PM congratulates public security's Logistics-Engineering force on traditional day

Hanoi (VNA) – Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended a ceremony inHanoi on January 9 to celebrate the traditional day of the Logistics-Engineeringforce of the Vietnam People’s Public Security (January 25, 1948-2023).
Over the past 75 years, the force hasaffirmed its role as an important part of the People's Public Security, andmade effective contributions to its implementation of political tasks.

On behalf of the Party and State leaders, PM Chinh awarded second-and third- class Fatherland Defence Orders and the PM's Certificate of Merit tocollectives and individuals; and Minister of Public Security Gen. To Lam grantedthe minister’s Certificate of Merit to several individuals of the force.
Appreciating the force’s contributions, the Governmentleader asked its staff to focus on innovation, promotethe spirit of solidarity and consensus, and prepare necessary material and technicalconditions to better serve the People’s Public Security operations.

He requested they implement the Party’sguidelines and the State’s policies and laws as well as regulations andinstructions on the logistics-engineering work.
The force should take advantage of resources toinvest in building infrastructure, step up research, development andapplication of science and technology, promote domestic production, andstrengthen international cooperation to build a modern and dual-purposesecurity industry./.
The public security force needs to continue its core and pioneering role in preventing and pushing back emerging risks and challenges in national defence, President Nguyen Xuan Phuc said on December 21.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MoNRE) held a ceremony on December 29 to connect the land database with the National Population Database and sign the regulation on work coordination with the Ministry of Public Security.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on December 30 had a meeting with historical witnesses from the People’s Public Security force, who directly engaged in the struggle against sabotage war and espionage activities during the resistance war against the US.
National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue on January 6 attended the opening ceremony of the 34th traditional sports festival of the People's Public Security Guard Force organised by the Ministry of Public Security’s Guard High Command.
