Radio Voice of Vietnam targets internet users with new digital platform

Hanoi (VNA) - National radiobroadcaster Voice of Vietnam (VOV) on September4 launched VOV Live – a digital platform that offers usersunlimited access to the diversified content produced by VOV🔜, including its hugearchive of radio shows aired over the past 75 years.
The latest news about Vietnam and the rest of the world, music andstory-telling shows can also be found on VOV Live, which is available onseveral platforms such as Web (),Wap (Wireless Application Protocol), Mobile App (VOV Live app on Appstore andGoogle Play), and social media (//www.facebook.com/Vovlive.vn/).
Also at the press conference on September 4, thebroadcaster revealed its new logo as part of the new Corporation IdentifyProgramme (CIP) and to mark its 75th anniversary (September 7, 1945 – 2020).
At present, VOV has eightchannels featuring specific topics such as breaking news, culture, music,world, traffic and health. In addition, the national radio broadcaster isalso the operator of Vietnam Digital Television (VTC) and VOV TV. Thee-newspapers vov.vn and vtc.vn, and the newspaper Tieng Noi Viet Nam arealso under VOV.

Ninety-five years ago on June 21, 1926, the first issue of Thanh nien (Youth) newspaper representing the voice of Vietnamese Revolutionary Youth League founded by Nguyen Ai Quoc (aka Ho Chi Minh) was published, marking the birth of Vietnam’s revolutionary press as the country remained under the yoke of French colonial rule.
