Hanoi (VNS/VNA) - The Security Bootcamp2017 event is being held in south central Khanh Hoa province on September 9-10.
The forum, themed "Save YourselfFirst", is considered an opportunity for Vietnam’s experts to connect andshare the latest knowledge and experience in the field of information security.
The event has attracted the attention of theinformation security community nationwide -- with the Internet andtelecommunications industry booming, the issue of security is becomingincreasingly important.
The bootcamp will incorporate activities to helpshare knowledge and practices, while also providing training on safety,security and confidentiality.
Security Bootcamp 2017 will draw theparticipation of prestigious speakers in information technology, such as NguyenMinh Duc (founder of CyRadar), Cao Nguyen Viet Hung (co-founder and vicepresident of HCM City’s Information Systems Audit and Control Association),“virus killer” Truong Minh Nhat Quang and Vi Minh Toai (CISSP, CISM, CEH), aswell as blogger Le Trung Nghia and experts from technology companies, includingVNG Corporation and Vietnam Computer Emergency Response Teams.
Experts will be accompanied by delegates andguests, and specific discussions will be held on cloud security issues,advanced persistent threat (APT), strategies for the development of informationsecurity and safety, and technology trends in information security and safetysystems, as well as computer network security techniques and techniques toexploit security holes.
Security Bootcamp 2017 consists of two majoractivities -- a two-day conference for experts from enterprises, researchinstitutes, universities and associations and a two-day training session forstudents who have knowledge of computer networking and are interested ininformation security or confidentiality.
The event is organised by the Vietnam InternetAssociation in collaboration with the Khanh Hoa Department of Communicationsand Information and the Khanh Hoa Informatics Association.
