Thailand faces a 36% US tariff on its exports if it fails to negotiate a reduction before a moratorium expires in July.

The Government negotiating team on trade issues with the US is headed by Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh directed the immediate formation of a negotiating team led by the Minister of Industry and Trade to engage with the US on a balanced and sustainable reciprocal trade agreement, laying stress on the need to closely monitor developments and propose timely, flexible and effective adaptation solutions.

Cambodia and China have wrapped up trade talks following a video conference between Cambodian Commerce Minister Pan Sorasak and his Chinese counterpart Zhong Shan on July 20, the Cambodian Commerce Ministry said in a press release.
