At the invitation of President Ilham Aliyev, Party General Secretary To Lam and his spouse pay a state visit to Azerbaijan on 7–8 May 2025 — the first visit at General Secretary level since diplomatic ties were established in 1992, marking the highest-level exchange in a decade and advancing bilateral relations to a new height.
