The Vietnam Department of Peacekeeping Operations under the Ministry of National Defence on May 13 opened a training course for United Nations staff officers with the support of the US Global Peace Operations Initiative (GPOI).

The Vietnam Department of Peacekeeping Operations on January 21 opened a training course on civilian protection for 16 Vietnamese officers and 10 others from foreign countries.
