A Gala night gathering big stars from across Vietnam will be held on September 26, 2017 in Hanoi to mark the 60^th founding anniversary of the Vietnam Stage Artists Association and welcome Vietnam's Stage Day (which falls on the 12^th day of the eighth lunar month).

The show will feature a wide range of performances, including comedy, drama, circus, tuong (Vietnamese classical drama), cai l​uong (reformed theatre), and more. Big names in Vietnamese showbiz, such as People’s Artists Hoang Dung, Hong Van, Lan Huong, Tu Long, Hu​e royal performance singer Ng​oc Binh, Meritorious Artists Hoai Linh, Thu Huyen, Xuan Bac, along with others, will introduce some of their greatest works. Two Guinness record-holding circus artists Quoc Co and Quoc Nghiep will also perform. ‘Vietnam theatre stars Gala’ will be directed by People’s Artist Thuy Mui, a famous Vietnamese Cheo artist and director of the Hanoi Cheo Theatre.
